There are eight sectors in the Bagua Map.
Each sector represents a cardinal.
North, Northeast, East, Southeast, South, Southwest, West and Northwest.
Each sector has a principle character and it also symbolises a specific year, a particular family member, a few body parts, a particular element (e.g. Wood or Metal) etc.
Let’s take East cardinal, for example; the principal character is Growth; it represents the Wood element, 1st born son in the family, the legs, liver and the year 2023 and 2022.
East cardinal also represents hardworking.
