Rubbish

While shooting our Feng Shui 101 video in Sani Quo’s Showroom, Gloria was looking at the different sizes of rubbish bin, she wants buy an automatic rubbish bin to replace her old ones.

As she was looking at the rubbish bin, she was grumbling about her mother not wanting to throw away the old, broken and dirty one that has been in the house for many years.

It amazed me why her mother-in-law refused to abandon the old one when it is not able to function well. I don’t think she is not sentimentally attached to the rubbish bin. Maybe the older generation had been through many hardships, or from a humble beginning and wishes to save every penny when possible. I totally can understand that. But a broken, non-functioning item at home is not good Feng Shui.

I recalled that a client of ours complained that he is unable to close any deal and some even did not materialise after signing a contract.

When we visit the house for an audit, we managed to clear eight trash bags of empty medicine bottles, broken pottery, torn clothes etc. All these broken items are Yin (阴) when your house is too Yin, it is not good. Family harmony, health or prosperity will be affected.

So, our firm advise is don’t have anything that is not working or torn or broken etc., in your house.

Mother’s Day is coming and many filial children will buy gifts for their mother, maybe you would like to replace her existing broken item and not try to fill her house with more things.

Quote of the day:

In California, they don’t throw their garbage away – they make it into TV shows.
