We have all heard of Feng Shui Masters giving your friends or relatives a hard time. Asking ridiculous, impractical, non-logical requirements or demands.
Jon shared with us a personal experience last month; his client squeezed him on their renovation budget, from fifteen thousand to thirteen thousand dollars. Giving Jon excuses that they are newlywed and is on a super tight budget due to wedding dinners, photo shoots, renovation etc. John gave in and took on the deal.
Three days before the renovation commence, the customer came back to Jon requesting to redo all the renovation plan. I am not sure is it to the horror or the delight of Jon, but with a very extensive reconfiguration to the floor plan and renovation, the renovation fee has swell to seventy thousand dollars.
Jon was curious and asked why the sudden change of renovation plan and how are they going to fund the renovation cost? Oh, we seek a Feng Shui Master’s advice, and we will take up a personal and renovation loan replied the customer.
Apart from the inflated budget, the couple were asked to obey ludicrous conditions. They must sleep in the guest room and never in the master bedroom, or they will develop cancer; cannot cook in the kitchen until the year 2021, the whole house must paint in red colour including the ceiling.
Feng Shui is a tool; a pen is a tool.
The pen can draw a beautiful picture, can write beautiful poetry. But it is the human that does the drawing and writing; the pen is useless without a human.
Feng Shui is a tool, a tool wise human use to improve our lives, never be dictated by a tool hence don’t allowbrainless Feng Shui to lead you by the nose.
Please exercise common sense and wisdom and not follow blindly.
