“Bobo, would you eat your meal outside the coffee shop’s toilet?” I asked.
“No, I will certainly not.” Replied Bobo.
Bobo is my ex-colleague, and he just came back from Cambodia after spending a decade there working. We recently caught up for dinner together with three other ex-colleagues. After an illness, Bobo was introduced to a religion and became very religious, and after learning that I followed my dream and became a Feng Shui Consultant, he wants to confront the concept of Feng Shui.
I grilled Bobo further, “No, why not? Didn’t you just say so long our heart has a god, everything is the same and is at peace? So why can’t you eat beside the toilet? What is the matter?
“Eww, the environment near the toilet is not good for food consumption, it is smelly, it is unsightly, and the floor is always wet.” We should find another table somewhere else said, Bobo.
“Yes, I agreed, we should find another table away from the toilet,” I said. We should also take into consideration not to choose our table near the main road because of noise pollution and dust or under a tree for fear of bird’s droppings.
Many Feng Shui experts have many definitions for Feng Shui. My definition is, Feng Shui is an environmental study. Find the best place for living. Period.
